Djaa Kouroussa
Djaa is a Malinke-rhythm that - like many rhythms - originates from the handclapping by woman. Itīs a
dance of seduction where young men and woman dance in two half-cirkels in front of each other. It is
often the climax of a party where men and woman dance. Djaa Kouroussa is the Djaa from the Kouroussa
region.
